Instructions & tips for using our products.

DIRECTIONS: Wet hair. Squeeze a quarter size amount in palm and massage into scalp. Apply more depending on hair length. Comb through hair. Leave on a minimum of 5 minutes to thoroughly cleanse and hydrate. Rinse hair.

DIRECTIONS: After using ( Clean Me)leave hair soaking wet. Do not towel dry. Begin by applying a quarter-sized amount of Hold Me SMOOTHING CREAM GEL to hands and rake from roots to ends of hair. Add more product as needed based on hair texture and length. We recomend useing a styling comb to distribute through curls. Flip hair over to scrunch, then blot hair with a microfiber towel to remove excess water. Dry hair as usual and refrain from touching until completely dry.

All sales are final unless there are obvious manufacturing defects. If you are not sure that our products are right for you, please contact us for a free sample to try before ordering.
All product is inspected before leaving our facilities, so this should not happen. However, if you feel that there is a defect in the packaging or contents of your product, simple contact us though our website and send us your name, order number and the nature of your business.
The cost of shipping is calculated using a variety of factors including weight, boxes, and fluctuating prices with our shipping partners. We work hard to keep shipping costs as low as possible and are updating shipping rates frequently. The best way to avoid shipping costs is to order $60 or more products per order, which includes free ground shipping.
We currently do not offer overnight or 2 day air shipping. However, if you are having a curly crisis and need help right now please contact our online stylists for advice. If you really need the products faster, send us a message through our contact form and we’ll reach out to you for a custom quote on expedited shipping.

Yes! No animals or animal by-products are used in the manufacturing of any of our products.
Yes! We love animals and are pro human dignity. We do not use contractors that benefit from youth or slave labor, and our products are not tested on animals.

We are proud to be an American owned and run familiy business based out of New York. Some of our packaging is offshore, but the products themselves are manufactured and packed right here in the United States. 

Some products use alcohol as a solvent, which dries out your hair terribly! At Juicy Curls, we know that alcohol means frizz, and we’re not about that…so, no alcohol in our products!

There are no sulfates in any of our products.

The American Cancer Society mentioned a 2004 study that found parabens in the breast tissue of mastectomy patients but did not find parabens to be a cause of the cancers. Parabens have also believed to cause irritation in some people with eczema. Due to this and other controversies, we do not use parabens in any of our product.

Mineral oil can build up in your hair. It’s also derived from petroleum, which isn’t good for the environment. It isn’t necessarily damaging, but it has no vitamins or health benefits and it is part of the refinement process. There are much better choices, so we don’t use it in our products.
